I would really appreciate some help with this one. I just upgraded from 1.22.3 to 1.24.2 and am suddenly getting all kinds of errors and crashes. I'm using a cheap PTZ night cam from maygion.com which is accessed by ZoneMinder through a simple jpg url (it doesn't appear to have support for a mjpeg ...

the IP410 has a completely new control protocol so my IP400 driver won't work with that. A bigger problem than the PTZ control even is the fact that I believe it streams mpegs instead of motion jpeg. It looks like the latest version of Zoneminder now has some support for mpeg, but I don't know if ...

have you tried to play with ffmpeg at all? I've played around with the TV-IP400 quite a bit (wrote the PTZ driver) and was able to grab its stream using ffmpeg. It may be possible to pass the stream through ffmpeg and have it clean it up a bit. I'd be interested in working on streaming/ptz support ...

yup, finally got it working for 1.23.x including movemap and gotopreset functionality. Will post on my site in a couple of days, or ping me if you want it NOW.

I'm the author of the Trendnet PTZ scripts that is now broken in the latest release. I can update my scripts to libraries so they'll have the correct interface again, but will adding a custom PTZ library as straightforward as it was to add a PTZ script before? A bunch of people are using my trendnet ...

OK, I wrote up an article in my blog on how to get it to work, and also added a link from the Wiki. When I have some time, I might put the actual instructions and files on the wiki too.

I'm fairly new to ZoneMinder, but have been able to get it running succesfully with my Trendnet IP400W pan/tilt camera. I wrote a zmcontrol script for controlling the camera that i'd be happy to donate to the zoneminder project. What should the process be for adding this new file ... do I post it ...
