Re: Memory leak?
I appreciate your reply but that is not the problem here. Apache is using up ALL the physical RAM in the system (4GB), and THEN using up the available swap space (3GB), to the detriment of everything else on the system (the whole system slows to a crawl). The system is practically unusable until ...

Re: Memory leak?
I've run into this problem again, for the past two days. It is Apache which is using up all the memory (both times, there were two Apache processes, one with a ridiculous amount (several GB) of memory, and the other with a reasonable hundred MB. All it is doing is serving Zoneminder across my local ...

Re: Packman really screwed me switching to libav - ZM broke
I think Opera has a problem with MJPEG. Go back to Opera 9.60 and you may find it works fine. Opera 10.5 and 11.x are broken for me.

Re: So what happens when a post is flagged for being spam?
Is there no way to manually report spam messages?
This guy needs sorting out:

Re: Opera 10 and Opera 11 broken MJPEG?
I hate to bump, but is anybody successfully using MJPEG streaming in Opera 11 without the need for Java+Cambozola?

Re: Memory leak?
It must have just been a one-off event that upset something. I hadn't seen it occur before and I haven't seen it happen since - virtual memory usage has been at 0 bytes for the past week (as it usually is on this system).

Memory leak?
I checked my ZM server this morning and found it running extremely slowly and upon going to Webmin I found that it had used all 3GB physical memory and almost 2GB of virtual memory. Restarting Apache and ZoneMinder brought it back down to normal. What is the best way of identifying (in the future ...

Opera 10 and Opera 11 broken MJPEG?
I have modified zm_funcs.php to enable support for Opera and Safari. It is working fine in Opera 9.x, and appears to be identifying Opera 10 and 11 correctly (in that it isn't loading Cambozola), but all I see in those browsers is a blank placeholder for the streaming image. It seems that Opera 10 ...

It's 30FPS per chip, but it depends on how many inputs you're using. You can use inputs 1, 5, 9 and 13 together and they will all work at 30FPS each. If you were to use input 2 as well, 1 and 2 would be at a lower FPS whereas 5, 9 and 13 would still be at 30FPS. Now that I've downgraded to 1.23.3 ...

I have one of these, currently using Ubuntu 10.04. Seems to "work" (displays an image), but as for ccundiff12, FPS is low (and for testing I only have one camera connected to /dev/video0(0). An additional problem I'm having is that the image is shifted vertically. Settings in ZM are correct - PAL ...

ZMLiveCD 1.22.3 (Mandriva 2007.0) - Updates?
I'm running a system with ZMLiveCD 1.22.3. It's working reasonably well, but due to the age of Mandriva 2007.0 I'm having problems finding RPM packages for it, as well as support for newer hardware that I'd like to use (or hardware such as Silicon Image SATA to work without corrupting data). Is it ...

Windows Server - Virtualised ZoneMinder
Has anybody successfully run ZoneMinder inside a virtual machine on a Windows Server 2003 or Server 2008 box? I currently have a Windows Server for my TV tuners and a Linux server for ZoneMinder. It works well (although at almost 10 years old the machines are sometimes a bit kranky about power up ...

Could somebody please explain in simple terms (to a Linux newbie) how to replace these JPEG libraries on a ZMLiveCD 1.22 hard disk installation? At this point, I've got a folder at /home/guest/jpeg-6bx/.libs/ that contains the following files: cjpeg djpeg jpegtran libjpeg.la libjpeg.lai libjpeg.so ...
