Upgrading 1.24.1 to 1.24.2
I installed ZM from the ubuntu repository which is only 1.24.1. I'd like to upgrade this to 1.24.2 but I'm not sure what to do :? There is a 1.24.2 DEB file available but if I just install it, does it upgrade everything (e.g. the database) or would I need to run something manually ? Also, does it ...

Interesting, thanks for this. I installed the Ubuntu 1.24.1 package on my 9.10(desktop) AMD64. I'd like to upgrade to 1.24.2 but I'm not sure what's involved. I presume I can use the DEB package above but I'm not sure quite what to do with it. Do I need to stop ZM/apache/mysql before installing it ...

Dumb question
Thought I'd give this a test but can't find a working download link on your site for the DVD.

Apache hangs issue
I'm running Abuntu 64-bit 9.10 with 1.24.1 on an Athlon64-3200 with 1gig RAM. Setup to run basically headless with XFCE loaded for a VNC session when needed. I had to tweak the shared memory but other than that, its all been a breeze. I am getting the Apache hanging problem and don't see much ...

Mandrake/Mandriva
What version of Mandrake/Mandriva is the LiveCD based on ?
I'm not sure whether to build my system with the latest Mandriva release or simply to use the LiveCD.
Any advice would be welcome.

BTTV Driver
I'm using LiveCD 1.21 with what I think is a Tibet Systems CS16 - 16 port card. This I think is BTTV card number 131. I want to know if the driver installed on my PC supports Card=131. I tried looking at /usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/bttv/CARDLIST but the folder doesn't seem to exist. Can ...

16ch 120fps Card
Newbie question: I have one of these cards... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=60839&item=5777846568&rd=1&ssPageName=WD4V It appears to be referred to as a W2016 or Anykeeper 2016 card. It has 4*bt878 chips onboard and I'm unable to find either a suitable driver for w2k or ...

Update
I've just rebuilt the box with a slightly faster drive (20gig) and a Duron 1100. Using the default settings and with 2 monitors (a single cam linked to 2 inputs on the Pico) I'm getting 8.33fps. CPU hovers around 30% and even when I configured one of the monitors to MoDect and triggered an event ...

What CPU ?
I'm a total Linux newbie :? but was drawn to Zoneminder because all the Windows based CCTV software is either junk or too expensive. I've done some testing with a p3/500, 256Mb RAM and a Pico card. The thing gives me 25fps (PAL) quite happily with a single camera. With 2 cameras my framerate drops ...
