I use JFS for my Mythtv Partition ( All m y recordings from my MythTV go there) its worked great. I have tried it with ZM yet but it shoould work fine. (Especially if you have large files, they delete almost instantly. hence why itss a good fit for Mythtv as recordsings are a 1gig and higher.

I think I have solved this. I completely reinstalled the mysqlDB and since doing so I have not had recording problems. Not sure what would be different, there are no errors i did check the db for errors and all clean.. even with the old DB and deleting the current monitor and adding a new one did ...

Is there a way to switch to monitor mode only at certain times?
