xawtv doesn't really work with the linux-uvc drivers:

but the camera works through luvcview, as well as ekiga v2.03.

How to Configure ZoneMinder for Logitech Quickcam Orbit MP?
Browsing the forum here, I see that some individuals managed to get the Orbit working in ZoneMinder. I however, can't get a picture. I'm running Ubuntu 64-bit, and can view video using the Linux UVC drivers (I followed their iinstructions here ). I verified that the webcam was working in luvcview ...
