Are you having any problems actually burning or running the software? The torrent application you are using should have automatically compared the checksum when it downloaded. It would give you an error in the application if there was a checksum error. I have used this image more then once and have ...

what control scripts are you refering to? I checked my test systems and found that the deamon control (init.d/zm), and package control (zmpkg.pl) scripts were pointing to the correct directory.

Zoneminder/CTU core CD distro

Cordel has created a zoneminder distro based on his CTU core. It is basically an easy way to install a fedora core 3 based install with all the required packages on a system. This is not a LiveCD, but a single CD install. I have tried this and can get a system fully running in less then an hour than...

installed great. I am trying to get the torrent up and running. I am having a little trouble with the passkey, but should have it resolved shortly. I do have a problem with the webserver, it won't start. I get the following error: Starting httpd: /usr/sbin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries...

I just joined Linuxtracker.org and I believe you can upload it there. If you want to give me the iso I can try to make the torrent file and upload it. It seems pretty straightforward creating the torrent file. There is a tutorial for creating and serving everything yourself at http://www.bittorrent....

I was under the impression it is a hard drive install distro, with all the packages you need and without all the clutter of a regular install from the fedora CDs/DVD. This would be really nice to speed up and simplify installs to the HD. I have been installing to the hard drive because I haven't had...

I've had some problems with the DCS-900W when used wireless. They seem to drop off randomly. The hard wired ones seem to work pretty well, except for the one I have to go replace right now. It won't display an image for some reason. The power works, it's built in webserver works, but won't display a...

I had this same problem with a DCS-900. After I unplugged the camera it seemed to work again, after plugging it back in of course.

the admin user was missing from the zm database. I tried to add it, but ended up just using zminit to rebuild the database.

It's working and I can now login....Awesome!

SELinux seems to have it in for me.

Thanks for the help! :D

I think I have the same error here. I get to the login page and use admin:admin to login. Then the login page just reloads itself. I have disabled selinux and checked to make sure: # selinuxconf selinux state="disabled" and I restarted the system to be sure that it is disabled. I have run ...

I feel really stupid.

Reboot System.....problem solved!

I guess I was misled by the selinuxconf output. Should have known that it needed a restart, isn't it kernel level security.

Thanks for the simple solution!

similiar or same problem

I think I'm having a similiar problem, but disabling SELinux and istalling perl module(s) didn't do anything. When accessing the web interface locally or over te network I get the following error: Could not connect to database: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql...
