Is it possible to schedule when a camera starts recording?

E.g hallway1 records from 8 till 4

Right I have finnaly fixed this problem.... It turned out that ZoneMinder was pointing to the /var/www/cgi-bin and so was not picking up the zms in /var/www/html/zm/cgi-bin Im not sure why it was looking in the wrong place as i have apache setup to point to the ZM cgi-bin Anyway thanks for the help ...

Has anyone got any idea on this one? I found a recent post that had what looks like the same problem, they just did the upgrade again, so i tryed that but it is still not working!

Just to add to that. i checked the messages again:

Dec 2 10:50:28 cctvsvr zms[13675]: ERR [Shared memory not initialised by capture daemon]

I tryed that but it made no difference, however i have noticed that i get:

java.io.IOException

Which is different from before!

With the 500 error is it possible that the mysql login is incorrect?

I have just found this in /var/log/messages:

Dec 2 10:35:50 cctvsvr zms[13192]: ERR [Unable to authenticate user]

This happens when i try to view the cameras!!

I get the problem when trying to view the camera's

Yes it was a source upgrade.

It also says next to that error:

Server returned HTTP response code 500

I do have Cambozola

I have just upgraded from ZM 1.21.0 - 1.21.4 my original version was working fine but after the upgrade i get this message:

java.io.FileNotFoundException

Does anyone have any ideas?

Yeah that is all kool, i run a network of about 30 linux pcs, we are experimenting with cctv on it now and this looks to be the best

Ok, it now loads the java applet :) But i get this: java.io.FileNotFoundException: http://angel/cgi-bin/zms?mode=jpeg&monitor=2&scale=400&maxfps=15&rand=1118651121 I take it that i have some problem with the access to the cgi-bin, i might have an idea why, will check my idea out and get back Thanks
