Installed Zoneminder v1.2?.? quite some time ago on Gentoo as an eBuild (emerge -pv zoneminder) with a generic four slot BT878-chip capture-card, running on a beat up Compaq Pro (AP550) and some 256Mb memory. Lots and lots of problems with no visible hints, and basically nothing working. However ...
