Any idea what the image would look like if the IR was not powerful enough? I haven't been able to find an image for "under powered IR security camera" or related searches. I have looked at that list, and I will look at it again. Any estimates in USD $ how much a good IR network camera woul...

Network Camera recommendations for Business

I have a medium sized business and I need to deploy between 10-20 cameras. I want to deploy all network cameras(since I have had bad experience in image quality with analog systems). My basic requirements: Atleast 10 cameras need IR and have to be able to be used outdoors. The building is 2 stories,...

I tried YUV420 and that looks better except the lines seems shifted during movement. Like some of the individual horizontal lines are shifted either left or right.

Oh, and for the settings on the web console. I tried all the NTSC and they all seem the same, and I tried the RGB 32. the RGB 24 seemed to not pick anything up.

Actually it seems the camera is a: Q-see color camera
Model: Q0CDC
System: NTSC
Power: DC12v
Video output: 1.0vp-P75ohm

I don't know the brand or model. It's a generic bullet camera that I got from bluecherry a year or so ago. When I open it up in xawtv it looks fine. but Zoneminder has the colors all off... If there is a list of commands I can run I'll run them and post the output here. I'm running Zoneminder trunk(...

Images and video

I have yet to try to install Zoneminder 1.23, but I have a question in general. Can zoneminder take megapixel images from a network camera? at a good frame rate? Can zoneminder then output a high resolution video based on those images? What about record on demand high resolution videos with audio? S...

Will that work for all cameras, or for each camera. Do I need to set it up for each camera?

Recorded events User Interface

Is there any way to search for recorded images by their date and time rather than by the 'event' number?

I've narrowed it down even further. It seems the card I'm using can't process an image stream for both channels on the same device at the same time.

Ok, it turns out that the flicker is between 2-0 and 2-1, and between 3-0 and 3-1. So, is it my card? or is it zoneminder? Since it only happens when zoneminder is running.
