Re: zmNinja "Invalid API/API access failed." (ZM API issue)
I just updated my Ubuntu to 17.10 and ZM to 1.30.4 and the APIs don't work. Has there been any progress getting the API situation to work in this scenario?

Re: Lost all network cameras
I had 1.29.0 running for awhile now on Unbuntu and I run the Software Updater and it showed a bunch of updates available, including ZoneMinder.
I ran the updater and now all my cameras do not connect (all wifi/network cams)

Re: Zoneminder fails to startup!

Been there tried that.
Still fails to start due to libgnutls-openssl.so.26 not being there...and following the Fedora bugzilla threads, they are no longer supplying this library in Fedora.
Help?

Fedora 17 - libgnutls-openssl.so.26
Looks like Fedora 17 will not be supplying libgnutls-openssl.so.26 anymore.
Anybody working on a workaround/update for Zoneminder?

I don't see the temp files either on my Fedora 15 box. i'm having trouble viewing recorded events (only shows last frame). On EyeZm events error out saying "file not found" but the logs show that the file is there and doing an 'ls' shows the file is indeed there. Viewing live feeds are fine.

Re: Fedora 14 trouble making
I've installed Fedora 15 and the latest FFMPEG and Zoneminder 1.25.0 built fine.
I'm running but there are a few ZM quirks. The disk space in ZM reports a "-1". Also I have EyeZM and I can only view live feeds - it reports that it cannot find the recorded events.

I am having the hardest time compiling FFMPEG and Zoneminder from source to support x264 and mpeg streaming. I've been trying all the things I have found on the 'net and I have compiled FFMPEG correctly (I think) and I have been able to compile Zoneminder correctly and it is running but without x264 ...

Normando, I like the technical suggestions. Unfortunately, isn't ZoneMinder "owned" by someone or is it truely "public domain"? If it's truely public domain then we have the chance to re-create the master "project plan" if you will....but if this is an owned product then we are at the mercy of the ...
