Axis streaming from https Feature Request/Offer
Hi Phil, I'm working for a computer lab at the Humboldt-Universitaet in Berlin (Germany). They'd like to have the opportunity to stream from Axis Cams (atm 210A) over https/ssl to the zoneminder-server through a secure connection, beacuse of data sniffing and security concerns in a big network. Atm ...

this failure is indeed a problem concerning ffmpeg... svn ffmpeg is right, but then see ./configure --help and for example use another prefix --prefix=/opt, then when compiling zoneminder, use ./configure --with-ffmpeg=/opt, that should do it. without that i always had troubles like this, when i had ...

yeah sure he can! i'd suggest you to change the folder to /var/run/mysqld and create it with following rights chown -R mysql:root /var/run/mysqld, because this is the standard path to the mysql socket file on debian systems... if you would have installed mysql through apt-get install mysql, it would ...

Streaming from IP CAM via HTTPS, Port 443?
Hi Phil and everyone else, I'm trying to get pictures from an Axis 210A, normal http:80 works fine already. But I should get it to work with an https:443 connection (this IP cam is directly connected to the internet, so unsecure transmission is just no opportunity). So just changing the ports does ...

Sounds good to me, but there's one question left - is there any possibility for zoneminder to stream data from axis cams through https/ssl connection instead of http? The Axis 210A is capable of serving pictures through https and I would need that feature (don't ask why, it's a university with very ...

Heavier load on 2.6.24?
Hi folks, I've been running zm for some months now, but since an update (restart) from kernel 2.6.18 to 2.6.24 in lenny I have appr. 20% more load on this server. I'd think that zma raised it's cputime by about 6-8% for each instance it is running - does anybody have this issues, too? Or realized ...

I'm working on a real translation (first two parts in options already done, but hell... that is a lotta work, did you have a ghostwriter for this? ;-) ) but there is some ...

German translation, new version
Hi there, I was forced to make a new translation because there were major mistakes ;-) It is available here: http://amor.cms.hu-berlin.de/~schumanr/zm_lang_de_de.php.gz a few things to mention, according to different countries and languages: 1. You obviously do a "strtolower()" or something similar ...
