Re: Anran IP Camera
All, I the see that this posting is dated and changes take place and I may have missed a newer posting in my search. I just received a few ANRAN (AR-36W-POE) cameras. Used the ONVIF to get a basic configuration going. ZM identified the camera as INGENIC-V01. Source Type = Ffmpeg (No change there ...

In & Out of Alarm Constantly
Good Evening, Maybe I missed something on release v1.26.5 when I installed it. I have the PC setup to email my mobile when I have an alert. With the new upgrade my phone is going off constantly. When I look at the events in ZM there is nothing and they are only a few seconds in length. Strangest ...

Ubuntu 10.04 Server & PHP Deprecated Errors and more
All, I broke ZM and went through various processes to re-load, purge, and try to get it worked out. I did not fair to well and really did a wonderful job of screwing things up. I broke it good. So I decided to load Ubuntu Server 10.04.3 LTS. Thought I would be OK, but I noticed a I was getting ...

Re: Arecont Vision AV1300M IP Camera Troubles
All,
I started setting various resolutions, the one that worked was 1280 x 1024. Huge screen view. I have not been successful making it work with a lower setting. If anyone has a different setup with these cameras please share.
Thanks,
Ron

Arecont Vision AV1300M IP Camera Troubles
Good Morning All, I got hold of a AV1300M IP camera and have been playing with it in ZM. I am having much luck getting it working. However I can get it working through the browser. The command below works for streaming with Firefox: /mjpeg?res=full&x0=0&y0=0&x1=860&y1=640&quality=20&doublescan=1&fps ...

That's it
I see that there are more on e-bay. I also just got another camera. This one has a smaller footprint and works well. Same settings and appears to have the same internals.

Q-Serial Cameras on e-bay - Success
All, I was looking for a couple of IP cameras for ZM and did not want to get carried away on cost. I got a couple Q Serial IP cams on e-bay. I was having trouble getting them to work so I started poking around the Wiki. For anyone who gets one. Remote Host Path = /cgi-bin/getimage.cgi?motion=1 This ...

E-Mail Script
I e-mail messages to my phone and gmail account. I found this script on the internet and used it with Motion. When I migrated to Zoneminder I tried it and it worked. I use it in the filter for each camera. #!/bin/sh DATE=$(date +"%Y%m%d%H%M%S") ALARM_EMAIL="zoneminder_2.cam" echo "Subject: Basement ...

USB Kworld V_Stream Xpert DVD Puzzlement? [SOLVED]
All, I tinker with both ZM & Motion. Both are interesting software and definitely cool tools. I have ZM running on Ubuntu 9.04 with 9 cameras. A few IP, a couple of UVC, and some old V4L1 USB Webcams. I have another machine that is running Ubuntu 8.04 with Motion. I can get the USB Kworld device ...

E-mail Notification Working
OK, maybe not the way ZM would like to have it work. I loaded SSMTP and built a filter to execute a script. Does not provide any real detail like the ZM mail message, but it works and lets me know motion was detected. Check out these links. http://www.linux.com/archive/articles/114118 http://www ...

Good Afternoon, Ubuntu 9.04, Athlon XP 1.8 Ghz w/ 2G ram, 9 cameras ( all working). Cool so far. Images & events get written and I can locate them and I can view them. I installed from Synaptic, also went back and grabbed Perl packages that I thought were needed in regards to ftp, IO, etc. I cannot ...
