Re: BTTV card, how to set this up within ZM.
Hi Phil, Thanx for answering. I think the things like you told me and what I wrote here should be in the manual. Just describe how to setup a BTTV card with ZM (not within Linux, that should work) and how to select composite and so on. Telling people to restart should fix a lot of problems. Because ...

Re: multiplex bttv cards, how do they show images?
Hi Cornelius, I never used a card like you have, but I used a BT878 Chipset card today. I had problems selecting the composite input. I think channel 0 to 3 will be for your inputs. I noticed that I had to select resolution: 320 x 240 or 356 x240 (maybe it is 352x240) and restart the system. Only ...

Re: BTTV card, how to set this up within ZM.
I got it setup. This is how to do it: Device Channel : 2 Device Type: 1 for Pal (or 2 for NTSC) Capture width: 320 Capture height: 240 Restart your system and THEN start the ZM processes. I've used these settings before but they didn't work. Just this morning when I restarted the system and FIRST ...

Re: Axis 2100 @ 640x480 resolution ?
Reducing buffers to 25 helps a little. Now I get a 640x480 image so now and then. One moment I get the image, then I get 6 images just like the still view, then the 640x480 image back and so on. I also got a lot of disturbance but I think I'll keep it at 320x240. My CPU is running almost at his ...

Axis 2100 @ 640x480 resolution ?
Hi, We got our cams working at 320x240 resolution using path: /axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=320x240 Using : /axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=640x480 which would be logical to use, doesn't work. Using the web interface of the axis does show 640x480 images. Does anybody has an idea how this ...

multiplex bttv cards, how do they show images?
Hi, I finally got zoneminder working with a logitech Quickcam Web with Suse 9.0. Really a great program but my webcam looks not so good. I've read some threads about BTTV cards and I noticed that there are multiplexing cards with 4 cam inputs. Before I start buying stuff, I wonder how ZM works with ...

Re: my second camera is working but how about events?
Hi Sido, I got my configuration working. The events also. It is caused by not having enough read/write rights in your /srv/www/htdocs/zm folders. I just gave everybody rights in that folder. not secure I think, but at least it works. Also with my logitech webcam. Maybe anybody knows how to set the ...
