I've been waiting for this release for ages!!!

Gonna have some fun now reinstalling a few servers from scratch with my actual favourite distro: openSUSE 11.4

I think you need to put the ZM's USER/PASS, not the MySQL user/pass.
If it's a fresh install, then you have to go to the ZoneMinder's Options and enable Authentication, and create at least one user.
