Re: ZM creates Continuous events in Mocord mode
What you're discribing is normal for Mocord. Try selecting Modect instead. Wiki covers the difference between the two

Re: IO reduce when remove old data

Re: IO reduce when remove old data
Lower your drive %. I run my TB drive at 80% wih no issues. Try unticking "OPT_FAST_DELETE" to see if that helps.

I'm guessing that the "run in background" box didn't get ticked when you saved the filter. Check it out. Otherwise repair the database per wiki instructions

Re: Looking for a good but cheap IP outdoor Cam to use with
I'm using indoor cameras outdoors without enclosures with no problems in the harshest climate available in the lower 48. Didn't have a choice to begin with and when I did (3 years later) decided it wasn't necessary at all. Just added 2 more cheapies to the mix and am betting no problems at all (we ...

Re: General Connectivity Question
On a 933l the trick for me was setting the camera default view to image under the Video profile setup section. Couldn't get the bugger to work any other way.

Re: What are the real limitations for hardware
I picked up a DCS-933l to play with off loading motion detection to the camera and nodect as the function to address exactly your issue. Never got around to trying it out so I'm stuck at 640*480 @ 10 fps with 6 monitors in modect on an older 2 core proc. with 2 gig mem (load reported @ about .45 ...
