listener with jpeg's
How would one best implement audio recording with ZoneMinder. I know there is a project 'listener' which records audio, but since ZoneMinder stores it's files in individual jpegs instead of mpegs, how would this be best implemented. If someone would point me in the right direction, I might be able ...

Re: Cambozola and zms
0.22 will never start the stream. However, when I upgrade to 0.34 it streams, but the images are all corrupt. When I go back to 0.22, the stream will not start.

Realize FPS
I am noticing that I can only record at 12-15 FPS. My capture card will capture at 25 FPS. Do I need to tune my hard drives, or will the JPEG compression not keep up with real-time?

Re: Control FPS
I'm talking about recording to the hard drive. If I click "force alarm", then it jumped to capturing at 25fps.

Re: RGB vs YUV420P
How about if my capture card defaults to YUV420P, is there a performance hit there?

Re: Cambozola and zms
I am using 0.22 downloaded from your site. I don't see any reference to it in my /var/log/httpd/access_log or /var/log/httpd/error_log. I don't think after it loads it is contacting my server. However, the IP address looks correct in the URL: string for cambozola. Also, I see zms running under 'top ...

Re: Control FPS
I see under options, there is a "Should we override Maximum FPS?" or something like that. That is not checked. I am testing by "Force Alarm", does that not follow those rules?

Control FPS
Is there a way to set the recording FPS? I would like to record at 5 FPS. I have the Maximum FPS set to 5.00. However, when a zone alarm is triggered, it keeps jumping up to 20-25 FPS.

Cambozola and zms
For some reason, Cambozola loads, but never displays anything. Right clicking brings up some status information. 0 FPS, and the correct address. I am running RH8, is there anything special I need todo to get zms to stream properly. Or, is there an easy way to turn on debug information, so I know zms ...

Web Interface Slow
I am accessing ZoneMinder running on a dedicated machine on the local network. However, many of the screens are very slow. I am running 0.9.15 on RedHat 8.0. I have taken UTF-8 out of /etc/sysconfig/i18n. For instance, when I first access the page, and click "Add a monitor". After clicking "Save ...

RGB vs YUV420P
I am just curious if it is more efficient to store the video information in RGB or YUV420P internally? Doesn't RGB take up more space 1.5 vs 2?
