I found

sudo chmod 4755 /usr/bin/zmfix

worked fine. Silly me ...

Me too am facing the same problem, brute force chmod 666/dev/video0 does works, but zmfix do not ...

Any hints ?

I,m on Ubuntu 8.04, ZM installed from Synaptic.
