on ubuntu i have 1.22.x on another machine i put in almost all of the exact same settings from the other machine, which still works on my network camera (axis) anyway, after putting them all in.. the camera .. isnt working it doesnt show any picture im on the new version of ubuntu, fresh brand new ...

ive got it running in mocord mode and keep going into to delete old events after 2 days cause it takes up TONS of space but when i delete the events,.. its still taking up as much space so i looked into the directory and all the images are still there! they arent deleted.. also is there some way to ...

is there a way i can set an age for these caps to expire and be deleted?

hrm. its not running it unless it has the .cgi extension..

i set it up to use scripts as the cgi-bin but the link website still tries to use cgi-bin so i did ln -s scripts cgi-bin but now its not running the nph-zms its surving up the binary file as a big text file ;) i see at the top ELF obviuosly not an image.. guess i gotta figure out how to make apache ...

i got it to actually say its RUNNING now!

also my monitor has a link to a page that shows a broken image link

it says the monitor is idle (~2fps)
it set its max fps to 2
im gonna try changing links (to image grabs) 1.1 and 1.0 again, and regexp stuff again

do i have to set up anything special for zoneminder to sudo something?

at this point im thinking this has less to do with the camera and more to do with some oddity with how its setup, on ubuntu i noticed another strange though, i should be able to start zoneminder from the website console right? i click on stopped, and try to start it, nothing happens i checked the ...

the debug look appears to be problem free till that select timed out right? i dont know what to expect, but it mostly seems like those are good things

well i checked the permissions /usr/local/bin, has only zm files, i changed them all to be zoneminder:www-data i also added /usr/local/lib to my ld.so.conf and ran ldconfig i noticed there are some perl modules? or some sorta libs in there , only zm libs, no other libs, im not sure if maybe this is ...
