ok. from my point of view you are right. But "The Client" makes the rules and after all: a) 2.6 Ghz cpu capturing 4/8 sources will be still in good shape when creating avis. b) Saving harddrive space is my goal c) joining video with sound seems "laggin" and i'm going only to show separate buttons ...

Hello. I'm aware of: http://www.zoneminder.com/fileadmin/downloads/README.html saying it'ts on To-Do: "Add sound support..." But what status it's now? With kernel 2.6.12 it seems it works :-D But. Remember to card=133,132,133,133.
