Second thought... Since I don't have and haven't played around with any IP cameras yet, I wonder how ZM will handle a disassociation and re-association of a camera. Say I have a wireless IP cam that ZM is monitoring/recording; and then the camera is turned off or moves out of range of the wireless ...

Thanks for the reply James. Your information makes me feel much better about this. My thoughts were exactly aligned with yours - if each cam was doing 1 fps (or even 1/3 fps - not sure if that's an option), and the server could essentially do 200fps, then that would be ~200 cameras. Guess it's time ...

Hello. I'm doing some research in the hopes of providing security to a local business. I'm hoping that ZoneMinder is going to fit perfectly for what I'd like to do. I couldn't agree more!!! I've been waiting 4 days for my verification email to come through. I finally gave up, and figured it was caught somewhere in my filtering....

Either way, I ended up setting up this account with my work email (not the best idea, but I need to post, so, what's one to do?).
