well the problem with mysql, the built-in backup and others was that the paths were borked so the executables couldn't even be found with the partition scheme /boot, /, swap, /var.

and apache actually managed to start... i think.

i must be missing some step in the install. any ideas?

im not so sure not having a var partition is a good idea. Exactly my point! ALso 9Gig? is that right? If so you probably dont yet have a purge when full filter running That is correct. You could double check by examining /var/log/zmfilter.log and looking for the backup files in /var/lib/zm and .sql files in each event directory. Ok, I'm back after some trials. Not sure if this ^ was just a typo but my zmfilter.log is located at /var/log/ zm/ zmfilter.log. I'm not trying to ...

Dude, you've really nailed it this time. ZMLinuxOS_2008 is lite, tight and painless. I can really appreciate this after a miserably failed attempt on a new Debian. I also did the 2006 1.22 which was pretty good but seemed to bog down my mini system a bit. That could have been due to using the ...
