I've got diagnostic debugging turned on, and noticed these in the logs: Jun 23 16:32:18 zm zma_m1[28808]: ERR [Can't open events/Monitor1/diag-12-1.jpg: No such file or directory] Jun 23 16:32:23 zm last message repeated 6 times Any idea what's going on? I do see two diags file, but it's under ...

Entity.pm
TheWayne, As you must be aware, zoneminder relies heavily on perl. Entity.pm is one of the modules that it uses, so you'll need to load the appropriate rpm file. In this case, you need: perl-MIME-tools This is not included with Fedora. Fortunately for us a guy named Dag has created a bunch of rpms ...

Thanks!
Took me a while to find where that stats link is. For anyone who wants to check this feature out: Click on the Event. Choose Stills, Click on the still with motion (There should be a red border around the frame), and finally you'll see the "stats" link next to the frame number. That link should ...

Taking a stab at understanding zone settings...
So I've been tweaking my zone settings and managed to screw things up enough so that now it doesn't detect anything anymore.. haha.. anyway, I thought I'd give an example of two zone settings that I've got going and explain what I think the numbers mean with the hopes that someone will correct my ...

I just tested this and it works fine over here... 1.19.4/fedora2/Logitech 4000 Prodjsb wrote:When displaying an event in stills mode the next button that should take us to next images page, only reloads the same page.

Now i have a buffer of 150frames A pre-buffer of 75frames And a post-buffer os 100 frames. That problem no longer exists, but the duration showed in the event list window does not match with the real recorded images. Example: Duration showed in event list window: 6.55 First image time stamp: 15h53 ...

Sounds like you didn't copy that zm file over correctly. issue this and see if you get something back ls -la /etc/rc.d/init.d/zm or you can use the script yourself: /etc/rc.d/init.d/zm start The only other thing I can think of is that the script might need to be executable... chmod +x /etc/rc.d/init ...

Diagnostic questions...
Thanks for putting in the ability to create the diagnostic images. Really cool to see what's triggering where. I've got some questions about the image names though. Does the -d in 00??-diag-d.jpg stand for difference? and the -r stand for reference? Also, it looks like it's performing the ...

Are there any live cd's avail with the 2.6 kernel? I'd love to boot that up and see how well my particular camera does.

Re: make problem
the strsignal function is defined in /usr/include/string.h and is part of the glibc-headers rpm package as part of the Redhat distro. It looks like your version of linux doesn't have that function defined. Phil offers a patch to this problem in another thread: http://www.zoneminder.com/forum_general ...

Zone "training" Event?
Occasionally I'll get an event that'll falsely trigger.. it doesn't happen often enough for me to play around with zone settings, so I was wondering if there is a way to loop a previously captured event while playing around with zone settings until it doesn't trigger? Or perhaps when an event ...

Sane presets for new zones?
Is it possible to have the zone settings pre-filled to "standard" settings when creating new zones? Right now, I've been writting down the settings of a pre-existing zone, and then filling those settings in to any new zone I create.

Arbitrary degree of rotation for monitor?
Is it possible to rotate the image that is captured by some arbitrary amount? I've got a street that goes diagonal through the image which makes creating zones a bitch. Aside from somehow rotating the physical camera itself, is there a way to do the same through monitor settings? I noticed that ...
