NOt a JPEG????
Hi all, still a black impage after fully restarting ZM. I have checked var/log mesages and zmdc.log and found the following: /var/log/messages: Dec 19 12:16:40 SuseServer zmc_m5[14341]: INF [Starting Capture] Dec 19 12:16:40 SuseServer zma_m5[13239]: WAR [Waiting for capture daemon] (This waiting ...

Thanks tux, Thanks Cordel. The restart of the zm daemon does not change anything. However, the properties of the grabbed image are not 176x144 as expected (and as set in the camera menu...) but 352 x 288. OK, now I have set the camera and ZM to 352x288, and then the IP in the SOURCE section of the ...

Added IP Camera - only black image
Hi, I have ZM 1.21 running on a LINUX 9.3 system since about four months, with one IP camera with a resolution of 320x240 on RECORD. Worked perfect so far. I am grabbing JPG's @ 1 fps and file them on a HDD. No I have added a new camera, resolution 176 x 144 for a start and wanted to do the same ...

Symbolic Link
Thanks Cordel - maybe I screwed things up by deleting the two folders and then recreating them again after I mounted a Hard drive to \events. I am positive that both contain the same files. Any hints on how to fix this?
Thanks
Thanks

Frames recorded twice?
Hi all: I have a Trust wireless network camera running under ZM, the ID of the camera is "2" and the name is "trust". The camera is set to RECORD and grabs JPG's @ 320x240 in 24bit colour at 1 frame/sec. Now I get all images filed twice: they get filed @: /events/2/<eventname>/xxxx.jpg, AND /events ...

Re: No stream, no still: zmc -d 0 crashes
I have this (partially) resolved - I get stills now. Problem was that my camera (TRUST NW IP camera) needs authentication in the form <username>:<password>@ip_address. So not a ZM issue, but related to the camera - not documented anywhere in the cam manuals... I only get 320x240 pics, setting both ...

zmfilter crashes
Hi Steven,
I had the zmfilter crash at line 141 previously, and I got this sorted out by making sure I have all the perl modules installed. Especially all perl modules that deal with date/time calculations.
Maybe this takes you to next step...
Ciao

No stream, no still: zmc -d 0 crashes
Hi, I have installed ZM on a SuSe 9.3 with Apache 2, and I am using an IP camera @ 640 x 480 as 10.0.0.9 in my network. I can see a stream if I point my browser (Firefox) to http://10.0.0.9/jview.htm. Both "function" and "source" are shown in green in the ZM console with "function" set to record ...
