Solved
Problem cause was the ext3 32000 limit: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/FAQ#Why_does_ZM_stop_recording_once_I_have_32000_events_for_my_monitor.3F And the ZM_USE_DEEP_STORAGE was not set. My setup was working fine until yesterday it does not store any alarm events. My setup: Ubuntu 8.10, ZM 1.24.1 P4 2.6, 882MB ram, kodicom 4400r running with 1 camera. Still no luck. I have added this line into /etc/modprobe.d/options options bttv card=77 tuner=4 radio=0 triton1=0 vsfx=0 autoload=0 pll=1 No picture. But only blue picture in xawtv / tvtime. In ZM I get darkness without timestamp. When switching between video sources in tvtime, terminal tells this ...

But I have found another one that I might get:
