Re: Everything seems to work, but alarms never end
Hi, I also took the advice above and re-created my setup; now I only have: - one monitor (no links) - one zone (as before), covering the field of view completely (0-799 horiz / 0-599 vert) I set the zone preset to "Fast, high sensitivity"; have yet to try other presets, but I figured this should be ...

Re: Everything seems to work, but alarms never end
I've been doing some more digging around this, and finally found one tidbit of information that may point in the right direction: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Documentation Linked Monitors This field allows you to select other monitors on your system that act as triggers for this ...

Re: Everything seems to work, but alarms never end
Hi, I'm experiencing the exact same problem, I've posted about it here: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=21195 I've never been able to get Modect working in ZM, although monitoring works just fine (and I have it installed on several machines in different locations). This must be ...

Modect never stops recording after an Event
Hello, I've been using ZoneMinder for quite a number of years, mainly for monitoring remote locations, and it's been working great -- thanks everyone for the nice work! Recently I wanted to start using its motion detection capabilities too, and unfortunately I've hit a problem that I can't seem to ...

Works nicely
Hello, I had written a similar script for the OrbitMP (which used to work with the PWC driver), however I made an upgrade recently and the new Orbit AF camera evidently has a different interface for control... Thanks to your script, it was easy to get ZM to work with it! The only annoyance currently ...

i am having the same problem, but with a PWC (Philips) based USB camera... It works at /dev/video1, as I can test it with camstream, however when I try to view the stream inside ZM, all I get is an empty frame where the image should be. I am using Debian/squeeze, and corresponding package for ZM ...

New module for version 1.23.x
Hello, I needed this working so I spent a few hours writing a module for the new 1.23.x versions. It is attached below. Many thanks to zylantha for the original idea (I wasn't aware of the SYSFS mode of controlling the camera, it makes things a lot easier ...
