Warning, overriding installed ./zm.conf file with local copy
I seem to be hitting an error for reasons I don't fully understand. There are a couple of posts here which mention the error, but they have not helped me to clear it up. I have set up ZM on Debian a few times, and have a working 1.23.3 - so I'm not totally new at this. My issues come from compiling ...

Filling disc - but only at 6%?
My ZM 1.23.3 has been a very good servant to me. For over a year it's been as solid as a rock. Just recently it's started to do something a little weird. Despite having a 'purge when full' filter running set to 60%, it's now filling a disc on a weekly basis - almost as if the purge is clearing the ...

Stills always showing analyse
Here is the scenario. Playback events and I see what I want. I switch to stills and find the frame I want in the thumbnails. All good so far. Click on the thumbnail and no matter what I do, I always get the red outlined analyse image up for that frame - not a clean frame of the image. I don't want ...

Nope, not a webcam. I'm using the defacto BT card with all 4 inputs in use. This is driving me crazy. I don't reboot the box that often, but I have to remember to change these settings across 4 cameras when I do. I discovered it when we needed to take some footage off the machine only to find that ...

Bleaching on reboot
A silly question this. I've gone over bits and pieces of documentation but can't find a fix.
If I reboot the monitor settings change the contrast/brightness and bleach out the image. Can I make the settings persist on reboot?
I must be missing it some place?

I'm not expert - but this line jumps out to me:
Is something else already using the card because that's how it looks to my untrained eyes.
Code: Select all
videoinput: Driver refuses to start streaming: Device or resource busy.
