try to run on the terminal as root:

zmfix

or have a look at the permissions for the /dev/videoxxx by doing

ls -l /dev/video*

congratulations for the posts, im sure theyre gonna be widely useful ! could you be so kind to just tell me, apart from the ptz control, if the mjpeg streaming worked "natively" with zm, or did you have to hack anything for the Wvc210 Ptz to talk to zm ? i have seen some posts that left those doubt ...
