Ok that was good to know. I think I could accomplish what I need if I could trigger when an event is complete. That is to say for a given a monitor, when the section length has been reached and the event has its EndTime written to the Events table.

Is that possible?

Does zoneminder have any facility to allow nearline storage of data without archiving the events out to a video and deleting them? I need to provide users the ability to review old data however the disk storage for events is insufficient for all the needed retention.

I see the 7014 is compatible and I doubt this one should be any different but before we ditch a proprietary 16ch analog system for Zoneminder, I was hoping for any assurance if anyone has any experience with it.
