Make sure you restart zoneminder by clicking on the "Running" in the Zoneminder Console page and select "Restart" in ...

Bluecherry PV155 and only one camera at a time!
Just got off the support chat with Bluecherry, problem not solved. I have CentOS 5.3 and ZoneMinder 1.24.2 ZM seems to be properly installed and the console works locally and remotely. When I have just one camera (monitor) installed it looks great and everything is fine. But one camera is hardly ...

SQL Query result for monitors!
Well even though it crashed ZM saved the changes I made. Here is the result from an SQL query on the monitor table.
OK I don't know how to paste html, csv, or formatted text here to show the query.
I did save it and now I am going to delete this monitor and start zm to see waht gives.

I used the interactive boot process and said NO to ZM the last listed service and got back my login. Now just what to fix. Before I change anything are there any logs or anything you dev folks want to make this not happen to others? Come to think of it I have no idea were to look or what to change ...

Ok, So after many trial and errors i finally got ZoneMinder working. I was using an unsupported capture card with no luck. A friend had a PV-155 that we could use so I tried that. zm_create.sql
I ran zm_create.sql from the mysql query tool and it made the db. Then I worked on apache contfd and zm.conf and got it working. I also ran the svn lmarch live cd. It came up as latest version and found my dvr card (I think) cause it said something like dev0....... where in fedora with 1.2.2 ...

Thanks Very Much
Wow I am in!
New pass and ready to move forward.
The mysql admin applet is nice, very similar to the windows stuff I am more familiar with. I am going to reinstall zoneminder if need be after first just trying to restart.
Thanks Again

Does this cause issues with MySQL not being updated to the root password change? When I use the terminal and type "mysql" I do get a prompt for mysql and ...
