I would like to utilize the mpeg option for my ZoneMinder system. I believe I have everything necessary for ffmpeg set up on the server, however whenever I try to pull up a camera rather than show the video stream it is blank. What would I have to have set up for MPEG_LIVE_FORMAT and FFMPEG_FORMATS?

Does anyone know if Zoneminder is a "PAM aware" application. I am looking for a way authenticate Zoneminder with an LDAP server and was wondering if PAM was an option.

I am looking into having ZoneMinder communicate with an LDAP server for remote authentication. Would anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I've looked into utilizing PAM modules, but not really sure how I would implement that. Advice would be appreciated!

Thank you for your reply. The cameras will be set to 8 FPS, they are AXIS 209FD-Rs, and will be set at 320 (Capture Width pixels) X 240 (Capture Height pixels). Let's say we want video to go back 3 months with the option to archive important events. Thanks for your help!
