I had a thought since my first post. The DVR software that came with the card runs Fedora Core 7 (2.6.23.1-43.std). They have it so that it boots into the application and I cannot get to a desktop. I am able to mount the drive under Ubuntu and look around. So does anyone know of a way to a) find out...
