Yep GV 800 works with last v4l2 driver. The only "detail" is the commented here, v4l multibuffer disabled or (in new zm version) 2 captures per frame, does the trick "settling down" the images. the mixed images issue in this board can be fixed easy,

in OPTIONS - CONFIG simply disable the option:

V4L_MULTI_BUFFER

The color issue,
Try RGB555 or 565 or YUV420 space color in cams. Or try V4L1.

try in console running

/usr/bin/zmdc.pl start zmc -m 7

and copy/paste the error here.
