I just want to take single pictures with a cheap webcam, preferably into a simple bitmap. Obviously, I don't need all Zone Minder's sophisticated infrastructure (web interface, archiving, motion detection, etc). Should I try to extract some choice pieces of Zone Minder? If so, which pieces? Or ...
