Well, I managed to get it all working again - but I don't really have a good explanation of what happened. Here's what I did ... 1. remove the zm database 2. Apply the zm-1.19.2 patch 3. perl zmconfig.pl 4. rebuild the zm database 5. perl zmconfig.pl -noi 6. restart zm 7. check the camera and set ...

Getting "Unable to extract header from stream, retrying

I've got this DLink DCS1000 camera. I tried to get it to work with a 0.9.n version of ZM but failed miserably. The posts at the time rather indicated that failure was more common than success and so I decided to wait a while before continuing with the surveillance project I was working on. Recent ...

Re: TRENDNet TV-IP200

Hello Phil, Yes, I've got Cambozola (the 'old' version from the ZoneMinder download area) running and I was using IE. I've also tried other browsers both Windoze and Linux - all give the same result. I can find no error messages and all my shared space and other configurables look OK. Unfortunately ...

Re: TRENDNet TV-IP200

Hello Peter, I've nearly got this thing working. The only thing that doesn't happen now is that the image is not displayed (streamed) in the Watch window. Stills are displayed OK and all the alarm processing is OK. I can even examine the events and see the video. I just can't see the live video. For ...

Re: TRENDNet TV-IP200

Hello Peter, Did you get anywhere with your camera? It's a badged version of the DLink DCS-1000 that i've been trying to get to work. I read the advice posted by ALGENON but I can't figure out how to access the root directory on the camera. the DLink website is not much use either. You can download ...

Remote camera - Wot? - No picture!!

I've been away from ZoneMinder for a couple of releases due to pressure of other work - but I've found time to carry on the good works! I've sucessfully installed 0.9.16 on a Slackware 9.1 box using an IVG-200 card. (detailed notes on how to do this are available - perhaps Phil would like to post ...

Re: Capture Cards

Hi, I've got a Linux Media labs card and there are problems with these cards. In the first instance you need to patch the kernel AND use a non-standard bttv driver to get the things to work. In the second instance support is difficult to come by. It seems that Linux media Labs is run by a bunch of ...
