Anything else I can try, I have removed the PPA and re-added and then tried to upgrade but its not getting past 1.26.5?

I am testing a Sony EVI D31 with ZM 1.24 on the ZMLARCH distro and have configured the Cam successfully bar the fact that every time I select a control on the camera pad is moves the camera to its extreme position rather than stepping?
