I deleted all my monitors and re-created them and it seems to be working properly now - the events are a few seconds long.

I think we'll have to put it down to one of those things we'll never know the cause of.

I've had a look at the zone and all the points are inside the image area (just to be on the safe side I moved them all in by 1 pixel). However it is still doing the same thing - the last event was over 59,000 seconds long!!

No there are no trees - it is pointed at our driveway so the only motion is our cars or people walking on the pavement. Both my cameras are wired in to a bt878 pci cctv card. Seems weird that it's only affecting one camera.

I managed to fix this by setting the source settings for the camera to:

360x288
PAL-I
RGB 565

Hello Thank you for your post - I looked at the number of events and it was 31999 so I ran a filter to delete any very short events and it is working again now. I have also gone into Options -> Paths and enabled ZM_USE_DEEP_STORAGE which hopefully will stop the problem re-occuring in the future ...
