Re: does the package contains a compiled zm with libpcre ?
Hi maximum, I've used the debian package to install on debian/sarge stable. However, when I tried to use a Trendnet TV-IP100W, the webcam froze after a few seconds. I already met this case when I was using the LiveCD, but this was solved when I checked the ZM_NETCAM_REGEXPS option. Under my new ...

If you have a process that is running then the easiest way to increase the debug level is to send a USR1 signal, using kill -USR1 <pid> which will increase debug by one per signal. Use USR2 to put it back down. If your process is crashing then try shuitting down zm and running the binary directly ...

Debug Level
Hi all,
Sorry for a question so stupid, but...
how to elevate te debug level?
I have a Cpia camera that works perfectly under xawtv and gqcam but don't do the same under ZM
so i think that elevating the debug level from 0 to 1 or 2 can help me to understand

MaX

if you haven't php4 running this mean that php4 is not installed. i think you need to install:
# apt-get install php4 php4-cgi php4-common php4-gd php4-mysql

it was just a thought to aid config. You could setup how you wanted change whatever settings needed and then save a copy of usb key. I assume they would have to be a fair size (1Gb). I assume the same can be done with live cd but if a config change is needed a new live cd need to be created? It was ...

Is it possible to make a live usb key? Like the live cd but usb key based. I assume it would have to be a stripped down version but could it have a select hardware, and low config settings on it?
