Duplicate monitors seems like a really ugly way of doing it. I've done it using cron jobs which load the SQL .MYI and MYD files from different backups depending on whether it's day or night - works for me. I found older post on this subject but never a real answer. Due to moving trees and sun during the day i have to limit my sens.

At night I could really use a more sensitive setting. Is there any way to swap out zone settings via cron for different times of the day

BUMP, has any of this code been included in the latest release?

The would be very helpful for those of us that setup preclusion zones during the day to to stop sun movement, where these features have no use at night and can lower sensitivity

When you added a new monitor what was the function you chose? If it is the default "Monitor" there is no recording done and you would need to change it to Mocord. Take a look at the Functions section: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Documentation#Defining_Monitors And then the Zones ...

Hello All, I am new to ZM and trying to setup zones for one camera. The default zones dont seem to catch anything.
