filters not doing batch operations on ZMLarch?
I'm running several DVRs with ZMLarch 1.24.2. I can't seem to get the filters to do much as far as batch operations, such as "Create Video" or "Delete All Matches" (Although the PurgeWhenFull filter works fine). I also cannot get it to upload matches (yes, FTP upload is configured, etc). It just ...

unable to delete certain events
I'm running ZMLarch 1.24.2 and the PurgeWhenFull filter seems to be running ok, except I have some old events that simple will not go away. On one DVR I have over 900 events that will not delete and the other has over 20,000 that will not delete. I set a filter to view all events before 5/1/2011 and ...

Passing username & password via URL?
Is it possible to log into ZoneMinder by passing the username and password in the URL? For example: http://zoneminder/zm/index.php?username=john&password=letmein When I do this it populates the username field, but not the password field and then there's the issue of submitting it. I guess I've seen ...

Centralized Console
Has anyone built a centralized web console for ZoneMinder? I have five DVRs (may add one more) and I'm trying to ease the users' experience with having to log into each DVR to view certain cameras. I can easily build a web app/database that gives them a login with a single list of cameras, etc ...

First think am gona say try to avoid telnet use ssh most switches and stuff even use it now. second no that package dose not affect zm. Check you syslog and kernel linux system going down is most likely the cause of hardware or driver failure. In the bios for the server check the power rails they ...

ZMLarch DVR keeps going down
The first two DVR's I installed have been running since day-one with no issues. The others have been constantly going down on me and I've tried on like 3-4 different servers that are all the same hardware. Somewhere in the middle of setting this all up, they upgraded the telnetd package and instead ...

[quote="st2000" ZM usually drops my wireless cameras saying they are not available. [/quote] I seen a post on here somewhere that someone change the connection timeout from it's default to 5000ms in Options and it fixed their wireless camera connection issues. I've been using the ZMLarch live CD ...

That worked out great. Thanks. But for some reason now when I go to add my other cam/monitor, both cams are tied to the same view.. IE.. when I goto view cam_1 I see our front door. When I pull up cam_2, which should be the garage view, it shows the same view as cam_1. I know I've got the channels ...

I'm using the latest zmlarch cd, 1.24.2, I believe. I had some issues with partitioning and figured out if I use gparted it works good to do them at install time. I typically use it to delete all the partitions and do it fresh. If I'm reinstalling on one that I had previously set up, I have to at ...
