I also use slackware , i think there is good support of usb devices in 2.6 kernel and
may be good support for video also.
So i also prefer 2.6 kernel.

Basically you have to set permissions of
zm.conf file .

Hi I successfully compile zoneminder under slackware all things looks fine but when I open http://localhost/index.php or zm.php It says config file not found # whereis zm.conf zm: /etc/zm.conf /usr/local/etc/zm.conf i make link to /etc also but i want to know where i have to define path of zm.conf ...

hi all I have creative pc-cam 880 i just want to use it for testing. i succesfully mounted it and hope i will capture videos with it :) Is creative pc-cam 880 work with zoneminder and any link regarding this cam will be help ful . i m working to capture video with it but not successful yet 2.4.31 ...
