In my country (france) We can't record (only with a agrement) public place or street but if we instal ZM on a shop some time a part of public place can be record.

A "Black Zone" simplify the installation can we do that ?

i have creat a second zm web site with a different storage
i move archved events like this i can purge and reset events and i dont loose my archives

whith this option we can manage simply the achived events and we can reset the count id since purge database, or add an archived table event

If you install ZM with .deb the web files ares in /var/shared/zoneminder
And events files in /var/caches/zoneminder/events
