Where in zoneminder do You have error log ?? You have to check two things

1)
I have made both (dont know which one is correct)
ln -s /media/VIDEO/events usr/share/zoneminder/events
ln -s /media/VIDEO/events var/cache/zoneminder/events

2) try to do ln -s to zoneminder/events

I'm working on ubuntu and it is not so hard to make it work. Fallow my previous posts

I have max 6 FPS on every camera. That number makes it go without delay. If I set 1 FPS there is about 6-7 seconds delay (for screen to react)

Setting 1 FPS doesn't make it write 1 frame/s (JPG) on hard disk.

Is it possible to set ZM to capture and write 1 frame per second (jpg) from all my cameras on my harddisk ?

How can I do it ?

Is there a way to limit number of frames that can be stored in one event ??

It would be also usefull to limit number of events for example max 10 events / hour
