Re: Y-Cam HD-Pro
hi Will, This is great news. I have the Humax Eye, which is the badged Y-Cam Evo and uses/used the Y-Cam App. It has now stopped working which seems to be the issue you describe. I tried your script (thanks for your work on that) and got "found IP of camera" and "Auth Success", so I assume it also ...

Re: after upgrading to 1.36.17, blank video in montage, and web_php "Unable to get semaphore." in log
Thanks.
Just checked my system again and whatever the problem is has self-rectified. Clearly something is not quite right in the interactions between the various bits of software but for now I am content - until the next time...

Re: after upgrading to 1.36.17, blank video in montage, and web_php "Unable to get semaphore." in log
OK, so I found this thread after my ZM running on Centos 7 began blinking, following one of the recent ZM updates. I installed php7.2 and the issue appeared to be resolved - yey hey, I'm happy. But today, just a week later, the blinking is back. I have no idea why. I have re-booted the server since ...

Re: ie20 legeek onvif setup
Thank you so much for this post. I received my IE50 in the post today and started playing to get it working in ZM. Took a while but was then stumped concerning the control functions (fisrt camera with such functionality after all these years with an old Y-Cam that has just had its wifi fail after 15 ...

Re: Y-Cam HD-Pro
OK, so having re-stumbled across this thread today decided to have another go. I think I have made some progress but am not "there" yet. So, I tried converting the pw from Base64 to text, inserting the MAC of my camera (8c:ae:89...) and then converting back to base 64 - no luck. So I reverted to ...

Re: Y-Cam HD-Pro
Yes they will. The site says that it will close in August gone but because of Covid nothing has happened yet. One will be left with only the App. When and whether that actually happens remains to be seen

Re: Y-Cam HD-Pro
Cheers. I guess you can't blame them as it is supposed to be part of a security system but for those with the Y-Cam version it is annoying that they ceased the free cloud stuff (I originally bought 2 of those and sent them back for a refund because of that) and for me it is annoying because the App ...

Re: Y-Cam HD-Pro
I assume this is now died as there has been no activity for a while. I have the Humax Eye, which is a re-badged Y-Cam and uses their app. It still has the free storage but the location recording in the App is flaky to say the least. I have been using Zoneminder for years now with an ancient Y-Cam ...

I am looking at the Netatmo Welcome and was wondering the same about ZM. Did you ever get an answer to your question?

Looking for a new camera
I have been using ZM for a few years with one Y-Cam camera. Recently I have been tinkering with a couple of old Blackberry Z10s to use as internal cameras but the phones keep losing connection/dying and rebooting/losing wi-fi or whatever and the feeds go dead. Decided to buy a new camera instead of ...

Problems with new install of 1.25.0
Hi all, I have been a fan of ZM for several years and had a 1.24.x version running on my old centos 5 server and was happy - apart from not being able to update to 1.25.x for some reason... Anyway, I just update my linux box to a newer machine and created a new server using centos 5 again and ...

Re: Compile Error
First, sorry for not coming back on your tips folks but life suddenly turned totally manic and this has to take a back seat for a while... I have now run the g++ command from the src directory and it runs fine but I thought I should see the zmc-full.cpp file but see nothing. Have I got this wrong ...

Re: Compile Error
I seem to have the same issues on CentOS (now 5.7 since doing a yum update) the g++ command returns g++: zmc.cpp: No such file or directory g++: no input files I also do not have anything in /usr/share/ffmeg apart from 36 files starting lib... ffmpeg installed using yum and returns FFmpeg version ...
