I'll give it a shot. Burning Fedora right now. If that doesn't work, maybe Gentoo (I ran Gentoo for years before switching to Ubuntu). Stay tuned.

Same problem here from a clean installation (Xubuntu 10.4 and ZM 1.24.2). It worked fine for a while and then completely failed.

Well, as it turns out, I already had it set for JPEG. I futzed w/ it awhile more and decided to do a fresh install. I wiped the partition, installed xubuntu 9.10, and followed the instructions in the wiki, and was up and running in no time (excellent instructions BTW...thanks! :) ). I'm running ZM 1...

Well I'm guessing it's browser related because I don't see anything odd in the log files and I don't even have to close the camera window that is frozen; I simply open a new window and the live feed starts working again, at least for a few minutes. I'm not waiting for a "free lunch" here (...

OK this is weird.... I've got 2 cameras (IP Foscam 8904) both working just fine. Both are configured for "Motion Detect" with zones and alarms set. They work great...for awhile and then they "lock up". The weird thing is that the event(s) are still recorded (and playback confirms...
