Hi, So I've found the 31998 files limit the hard way ;-) I'm hoping that archiving the files might help... So questions are 1). Will archiving half the problem (i.e enable me to have 31998 archived and 31998 events? 2). If 1 is true can I have more than 31998 archived? 3). If neither 1 of 2 is true ...

I was being hopeful asking as ZM would have to store BOTH images (i.e buffer two copies one at low res for analysis and one at high res for storing) so while the CPU would go down the IO would go UP. I don't want the off load the modect, I have a range of cameras and not all of them do it ...
