Background: I have 10 IP cameras, a mixture of Acti and Vivoteks all running Mjpeg. Zoneminder was installed using the APT 1.24.2 package. The system is a Core 2 Quad 2.5ghz, 4gb ram. I've been using Ubuntu 10.04 x64. When the system is running, it runs at a nice 1.8 load with room to spare. Just ...
