The real answer to the posting the solution is to include FULL settings in the hardware section of the documentation like what I have in my Tue Aug 03, 2010 12:44 pm post (IMHO). I did check there before posting. IMHO the best resource this site could provide is complete settings for cams.

I've got a trendnet ip-100W. The Wiki only states:

Trendnet TV-IP100 works ok. http://x.x.x.x/video.cgi
What setting do I use that for? are there other things like frame rate, port host path that I need to set?
