Changing the w.sock to s.sock made all the difference in the world for me. It doesn't seem like a 100% correct fix, but it got my system going well. :)

How do you view the stream without your iphone app? Is there a URL that could be fed to something like mplayer?

elphel is an open hardware free firmware camera. Not cheap like linksys stuff.
