Re: Question about non-Motion ONVIF triggers/events
Thank you! That's what was needed. Setting the ONVIF_ALARM_TEXT value to watch for Alarm Input works perfectly now. Totally unrelated, but thank you for your work on issue #4099 where ONVIF events stop if a camera freaks out. I think this could fix some long-standing issues with my cameras and ...

Question about non-Motion ONVIF triggers/events
I have a camera with Alarm Inputs. (I understand some Doorbells have this too). When the contacts of the alarm input are closed/shorted it can raise an alarm, but this is a different ONVIF trigger than MotionAlarm In ODM I see the Events for this input: Topic: tns1:Device/Trigger/DigitalInput ...

Re: redirecting to systemctl
The "redirecting to systemctl" messages are part of the sysvinit to systemd change that was made (and is new) in OpenSuSE 12.1 . restated: OpenSuSE 12.1 now uses systemd instead of traditional sysvinit and this is why the output looks different. My suggestion is to follow those "start" commands with ...

Re: Image Problems after 1.24.4 upgrade
Phil, That did it, I forgot that on my old setup I had V4L_MULTI_BUFFER unchecked. However, your suggestion of changing CAPTURES_PER_FRAME (in my case from 1 to 2) also worked to stabilize my cameras. This plus the other thread I mentioned has me capturing in 640x480 (This was something I had ...

Re: Port Forwarding
I believe everything runs over port 80 (or whatever port your configure your Web server to run on. Some ISPs like mine block incoming port 80). I have only forwarded an alternate port number on my setup and I am able to access/stream successfully.

Image Problems after 1.24.4 upgrade
I upgraded from 1.24.2 to 1.24.2. 1.24.2 was working fine. I use a 4 channel Bluecherry PCIe card and analog cameras. I have not make any modprobe changes to specify the card type. Prior to upgrading to 1.24.4 all the software/hardware was working properly. In 1.24.2 I believe I was using V4L2 ...

Rovio as video source plus PTZ
Hello, I've spent some time playing with my Wowee Rovio. I've managed to get it working as a monitor and recently hacked together a PTZ control file to drive it from the Zoneminder web interface. I have also written a 2-3 page guide on how to get it working. I'd like to contribute this, but am not ...
