Yes, I'm certain I have been bitten by the same bug. I have read that PHP actually looks at the zoneinfo anyway, so another dead end
Maybe I have to concede defeat and set back to UTC or something. http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=43003

hi Caladeira, have you found a solution yet? I have the same issue with my interface, yet, I have set my hwclock and system clock to the same, local time. I have checked the wiki posted above, but still doesn't help i'm afraid. I think from what I read in the page, that PHP has a separate timezone ...

ZM console time WRONG by exactly one hour.
Hi, I have trolled around the forums to no avail for the answer to my strange error. I did a fresh install last night of 1.22.3 (Mandriva LiveCD), and my system time and Hardware clock are just fine. If I issue an uptime i get : # uptime 15:59:11 up 5 min, 2 users, load average: 1.05, 0.88, 0.41 yet ...

Two hard drives are better than one
Hi mate, I use a 120G IDE drive for my root and swap partitions, and a 400G SATA drive as /var/www. This works well for me, and I still set the purge to about 95% of the drivespace. I assume the ZoneMinder program looks at the partition where it is installed for the drive space, as I have not had a ...

I just upgraded my system to an AM2 Semperon based machine. Very sweet CPU over the old Pentium III 866. Anyway, I just installed via my SSH (putty) window easily enough. I'm using the liveCD 1.22.3 1. wget http://cetus.sakura.ne.jp/softlab/jpeg-x86simd/sources/jpegsrc-6b-x86simd-1.02.tar.gz 2. tar ...

Nice build! However, it doesn't recognize my MCP61 (Nforce chipset) network adaptor. For now I'm using a USB NIC adaptor i had laying around. I have read a bit on the 'forcedeth' driver, and how to get it running, but so far unsuccessful. I'll post my findings in the appropriate forum when (if) i am ...

Thanks rdmelin!, I just upgraded my ZM box to something a lot more beefy (due to board and HDD failure), and consequently the 1.21.3 version I had won't recognise the SATA and ETH0 of the new AM2 motherboard. Neither does the livecd 1.22.2. I promise to seed 500% as I normally do with all useful ...

That is because there is no ISO for 1.22.0. I actually still use 1.21.3 on my ancient hardware. If you go here http://www.zoneminder.com/downloads.html you will find the entire list of releases. If you want the ISO images, scroll down the page a little and select something close, say, 1.22.2. Have ...

I have a pretty old PC handling my ZoneMinder system. I found that if i set the Purge when full option too high (>= 93%) it would sometimes not purge the data out of the drive in time. What would then happen is, my PC would run out of HDD space and consequently blow a valve. :P So, I would guess ...

Thanks Jameswilson for your pointers. As usual, your tips help me get my system running sweetly. Adding options bttv card=77 tuner=-1 to /etc/modprobe.conf fixed my el'cheapo ebay bt878 card and make spring to life in the LiveCD of v1.21.0. Actually, it looked like it was in NTSC mode, and I have ...
